Recommendations

  • Ryan Parks | Design Team Lead at MedBridge

Campion is, and has been, a platinum standard for being a conscientious, communicative, and flexible team player. I’ve worked with him directly on many projects in which he was animating my storyboard assets and he always knocked it out of the park. Campion was one of my go-to people for anything requiring AE expressions and on many occasions his assistance with expressions was critical for preparing animated templates for larger projects distributed to the team. All the talent aside, Campion is also such a calm presence to be around. He’s curious, courteous, collaborative, and would be a strong addition to a creative team.

  • Stephanie Paul | Art Director at Threshold Games

Campion is motivated, intelligent, and always seeking to improve himself. When I brought Campion onto the team at Exato Games as an animation contractor 3 years ago I couldn’t fathom how much we would need him today. His technical knowledge is deep enough that learning new tools has never hindered his efficiency.

In the time I have known him he has moved up and is now our Cinematic Director. While he wears many hats (Animator, VFX, Cinematographer) the one I often appreciate most is Ally. While not a loud person, he is steadfast in use of inclusive language and efforts to make everyone feel comfortable and accepted. Campion would be a fantastic addition, and all around human, for any team.

  • Matt Radick | Sr. Program Manager, Content Innovation at MedBridge

Campion is one of the most talented animators I've had the pleasure of working with. Every project I worked with him on as a producer or director, he exceeded expectations, delivering high quality work on time and on budget. I also really appreciate his drive and problem solving abilities - I never saw him encounter a hurdle that was insurmountable for him, he would always find creative ways to get past challenges while constantly improving the quality of his work. Campion is a delight to work with, and I would gladly recommend him anywhere.

  • Chelsea Brown | Animator at PlayStation

Campion was my lead and trained me at Exato Game Studios. We were the two animators on the team, so I got to work directly with him everyday for over a year. I have nothing but positive things to say about him. He is an incredibly skilled animator and technical artist. Any time I had a technical or creative question in Maya, Unreal, FaceFX, Smart Suit Studio, or Audacity, he would have the answer immediately or know how to find the answer quickly. He was a patient teacher, clear communicator, and a kind person to sit next to. I loved seeing the content he would create. He is responsible for some of the funniest visual moments in the game. He juggled a lot of roles outside of animation at Exato, doing VFX, promotional videos, rigging, and so much more, and he always appeared organized and never stressed.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Campion for any role he applies to. Any team would be truly lucky to have him.

  • Emily Scarbrough (McFadden), MPH, CPHQ | VP of Education at MedBridge (she/her)

Campion brings a keen eye for aesthetics of motion and an incredibly thoughtful approach to his work. With his skill and confidence, he quickly established himself as a go-to contributor for a variety of projects. He is the epitome of a team player, and a model of growth-mindset, always looking for opportunities to hone his craft and share what he's learned with others. Without hesitation, I would recommend Campion as an asset to any creative team.

  • Scottland (Scott) Reed | Senior Motion Graphics Artist at MedBridge

I had the pleasure of interviewing Campion before we brought him onto the team, and he was easily the best choice in the roster. It goes without saying that we didn't regret the decision to bring him on the team for the past few years. He was a wonderful colleague to work with at MedBridge, always pleasant to talk to and incredibly reliable with his workflow and project timelines. He was also integral in creating many automated scripts and essential graphics within our workflow and educating the rest of the team on the process to make them on our own if we wanted to. Sadly, we didn't have a chance to allow him to work in Maya for rigging or 3D animation while at MedBridge, but that was a skill that his portfolio showed off quite well and was still a big reason why I pushed to bring him on the team.

Anyone in the future would be lucky to have him as a colleague.

  • Andrew Mickus | Chief Content Officer at MedBridge

Campion was a go-to contributor on the team with the skills and tenacity to solve a variety of project types. He brings excellent technical knowledge to his work and has a strong eye for details and quality. Campion is a team player and consistently delivered on work expectations. I specifically enjoyed collaborations on the development of marketing videos where Campion collaborated across multiple stakeholders to build high-quality, effective value proposition videos. I would highly recommend Campion for creative and animation roles.

  • Ben Schaefer | Manager of Design & Animation

During my time as Manager of Design & Animation with MedBridge, I hired Campion to position of Animator on our team.

Campion quickly proved to be among the top animators in both talent and productivity.

Campion is not only artistically and technically talented, he is a highly motivated autodidact in regards to growing his skill set.

Campion takes the necessary measures to understand the material in order to best express it visually.

I highly recommend choosing Campion for your project or job.

  • Mark Peasley

Campion was the TA for 2 of the classes I taught at Digipen. He excelled at 3D modeling & animation. He was also very good at troubleshooting modeling, texturing and rigging issues on other student's projects. Part of his other responsibilities was to document and write several tutorials covering in-depth methods of character rigging developed for the classroom. I would recommend him in any position that needs a strong, technical 3D artist.
